Ms. Medina Roshan

Spurred by the girls in her homeland of Afghanistan fighting to receive an education, Medina Roshan has dedicated her life to being an educator. She is particularly committed to early childhood, a crucial time in development where the majority of brain development occurs. Combining the knowledge gained as a public school teacher, in her studies of language and literacy at Harvard University and journalism at Columbia University, Ms. Roshan has helped develop an inquiry-based curriculum for early learners. Students will rely on their own interests and curiosity to answer questions about any topic of their choosing. Ms. Roshan will serve as the director for Storybook Cottage.
